Julian Sion

Julian Sion was born in 1991 in Cologne, Germany.

In 2004 he was infected by the dangerous fever of flyfishing for the first time. Inspired by Stephan Dombaj and without keeping any contact with the matter of “fishing” before, he scraped his whole hard won pocket money together for buying his first own fly rod.

Step by step Stephan & Julian developed the idea of a federation of different young fly fishers from central Europe, who follow their passion – Flyfishing! In this way FFN came into existence in 2006.

Today he is a well versed flyfisher , who fished several destinations for example Argentina, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. His favorite destination is the region of the Alps. He prefers to fish with the dryfly for catching his favorite targets - trouts and graylings. For capturing the beautiful moments and catches he is always equipped with a camera too.
