MATTHIAS MÜNTER

Proud to be a flyfisher, Matthias is one of the few who can call flyfishing not only a hobby, but a pfinciple of life.

Even though his fascination for fishing was already awakened in his early childhood when he caught roaches and breams on a plain fishing pole, his passion for flyfishing yet developed when at the age of 15 when he observed other flyfishermen at the Lenne-River in Germany. Amazed by this "art of fishing", he bought his first flyrod only a few days later.

The following years, Matthias learnd and taught himself lots of tricks and techniques about flycasting, -fishing and -tying. His will to give 100% every time he is out there fishing, no matter if it is for trout or grayling, barbel or pike, makes him a young, unique, and ambitioned flyfisher of our generation.

If pike in Northern Germany (Rügen) or barbel at Lenne-River, Matthias takes every opportunity to widen his experience perimeter.

Whether salt- or freshwater, he is always open for new knowledge and takes every chance to pass it on tho others, young and old.
