STEFAN FRANZMANN

Born in October of 1981 close to the Dutch border, Stefan started fishing early in his years and went after everything with scales and fins ever since! After he saw a flyfisher catch trout in a Swedish river he got addicted to the drug of flyfishing. Getting into the business he got to know the dealer of this drug – Stephan Dombaj aka. Esteban. Ever since he was completely dependent of that passion and to this day never let go off it. As a Flyfishing Nation Syndicate, he travels thru many European countries such as Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Danmark and much more to get his rod bent, whereas his favored destinations the Argentinien prairy, Sweden and Norway are. According to Stephan he is the „calm and responsible soul of FFN“: Since 2011, Stefan is a guide in one of the most productive and famous rivers round the globe, Rio Gallegos in Argentina, where he (besides guiding) gives also casting lessons. Further destinations he plans to cross off his list are Canada for Steelhead and Iceland for Salmon and giant trouts... Species such as brown- and rainbowtrout, grayling, chub, barbel and especially pike are also no secret names to Stefan.
